Covid-19: Bangladesh records 41 deaths, 2,868 new cases within a day
Dhaka, August 20: The death toll due to the novel coronavirus disease has touched 3,822 after the country reported 41 deaths between Wednesday and Thursday.
Another 2,868 new cases too were recorded during the same period, taking the taly to 287,959.
Among the deceased were 32 men and nine women.
According to reports, 3,253 people recovered from the disease within a day, taking the total number of recovered patients to 168,991.
Officials said a total number of 14,059 samples were tested, yielding the aforementioned results.
