Bangladesh: COVID-19 infected doctor dies
Dhaka: A Bangladeshi doctor died after suffering from COVID-19, media reports said o on Wednesday.
The physician, who was attached with Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, was identified as Md Moinuddin.
Dr Md Moinuddin passed away at 6:45 am on Wednesday at Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka, the hospital's Deputy Director ABM Belayet Hossain told bdnews24.
“He was admitted to our hospital with COVID-19 and was ventilated for three days. He later died due to respiratory failure,” he told the news portal.
Moinuddin was the first COVID-19 positive case in Sylhet.
