Starting August 4, Bangladesh's national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines will suspend flight operations to Kuwait. The decision was made after the Middle Eastern nation imposed restrictions on travellers from certain countries.

Authorities in Kuwait have said no to travellers from seven countries including Bangladesh and India. The Middle Eastern nation has decided to open its borders to travellers from around the world, except the seven countries, from August 1.

নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা, মার্চ ৮ : সাতটি দেশের সঙ্গে সব ধরনের বিমান চলাচল বন্ধ রাখার ঘোষণা দিয়েছে কুয়েত সরকার। শুক্রবার থেকে এ নিষেধাজ্ঞা কার্যকর হয়েছে। আগামী এক সপ্তাহ পর্যন্ত এ নিষেধাজ্ঞা বহালে থাকবে বলে আরব টাইমস অনলাইনের এক প্রতিবেদনে জানানো হয়েছে। দেশগুলো হলো -মিশর, ফিলিপাইন, সিরিয়া, লেবানন, শ্রীলঙ্কা, বাংলাদেশ ও ভারত।
