মালয়েশিয়ায় বাংলাদেশসহ ৯ দেশের নাগরিকদের প্রবেশে নিষেধাজ্ঞা
নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা, ৪ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২০ : করোনাভাইরাস মহামারির ধাক্কা সামলাতে মালয়েশিয়ার প্রবেশ নিষেধাজ্ঞার তালিকায় বাংলাদেশসহ ৯টি দেশকে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। বৃহস্পতিবার মালয়েশিয়ার সরকার বলেছে, যেসব দেশে এখন পর্যন্ত দেড় লাখের বেশি করোনা রোগী শনাক্ত হয়েছে; সেসব দেশের নাগরিকদের প্রবেশ নিষিদ্ধ করা হয়েছে।
সৌদিতে প্রবেশের অনুমতি পেল বাংলাদেশসহ ২৫ দেশ
নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা ৩ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২০ : অবশেষে সৌদি আরবে প্রবেশের অনুমতি পাচ্ছেন বাংলাদেশসহ ২৫ দেশের প্রবাসীরা। সৌদি সিভিল এভিয়েশন জেনারেল অথরিটি কিছু শর্তসাপেক্ষে এসব দেশের নাগরিকদের দেশটিতে প্রবেশের অনুমতি দিয়েছে। তবে কবে থেকে সৌদিতে প্রবেশ করা যাবে তার নির্দিষ্ট তারিখ এখনো জানানো হয়নি। এই ২৫ দেশের তালিকায় নেই পার্শ্ববর্তী ভারত, পাকিস্তান, নেপাল ও শ্রীলঙ্কা।

নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা, ২০ আগস্ট ২০২০ : রেলভ্রমণের সময় জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র প্রদর্শনের যে শর্ত দেওয়া হয়েছিল, তা বাতিল করেছে রেলপথ মন্ত্রণালয়। তবে রেলের টিকেট কিনতে আগের মতই জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র লাগবে। এক পরিচয়পত্রে পরিবারের সর্বোচ্চ চারজন সদস্যের টিকিট কেনা বা ভ্রমণেও বাধা নেই বলে বৃহস্পতিবার এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানানো হয়েছে।

নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা, ১৪ আগস্ট ২০২০ : কোনো ব্যক্তি ট্রেনে ভ্রমণের নিজ টিকিট, রিটার্ন টিকিট অথবা নির্দিষ্ট মেয়াদি টিকিট কারো কাছে হস্তান্তর বা বিক্রি করলে তিনি তিন মাস পর্যন্ত কারাদণ্ড বা অর্থদণ্ড অথবা উভয় দণ্ডে দণ্ডিত হবেন। পাশাপাশি এ ধরনের টিকিটের ক্রেতাকে একবার একক ভ্রমণের সমান অতিরিক্ত ভাড়ার জন্য দণ্ডিত করা হবে। এমন সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে রেলপথ মন্ত্রণালয়।

Inter-city train to operate in Bangladesh after Aug 15
নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা, ৯ আগস্ট ২০২০ : করোনাভাইরাস মহামারির কারণে দুই মাসেরও বেশি সময় বন্ধ থাকার পর গত ৩১ মে থেকে সীমিত পরিসরে অন্যান্য গণপরিবহনের পাশাপাশি ট্রেন চলাচল করছে। এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় আগামী ১৫ আগস্টের পর পর্যায়ক্রমে সকল আন্তঃনগর ট্রেন চালু হতে যাচ্ছে। রোববার (৯ আগস্ট) রেল মন্ত্রণালয় সূত্রে এ কথা জানা যায়।

Biman Bangladesh Airlines cancels all international flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi
Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national flag carrier of Bangladesh have seized flight operations to all international destinations, apart from London, till July 30. The decision was announced on the company's website on Sunday.
