PM Hasina addresses nation
Dhaka: As her government completed a year, PM Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday urged people to help her face new challenges.
During the televised address, Hasina recalled the struggle of his father Bangabandhu to ensure the welfare of the nation.
“As Bangabandhu’s daughter, it is the only goal of my life as well to make people smile. Please keep faith in me. I want to remain as one of you,” she said.
She said her government tried to give 'maximum service' to the people.
“I won’t claim that we have fully succeeded at all times, but I can confidently say that there was no lack of sincerity in our efforts,” the PM said.
Under her leadership, Awami League formed the government for another consecutive term.
